Ingredients:
1 cup corn syrup
3 eggs, lightly beaten
Pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 Texas-sized cup pecans, pieces, or halves
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients. Pour into pie shell.
- Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees.
- Reduce heat to 350 degrees, bake 30 minutes more.
Yield: 8 darlin’ little ole pieces.
