University of Texas at Austin Freshman Scholarships

One application is all you need to apply for most all freshman scholarships both from the Ex-Students' Association and the University. This includes but is not limited to Texas Excellence Awards, Dedman Distinguished Scholars, Terry Foundation Scholarships and Temple Scholarships, as well as scholarships from the individual colleges within the University.

Orange County Texas Exes Local Scholarships

The Orange County Texas Exes Chapter awards scholarships annually to seniors planning to attend The University of Texas at Austin. Students must be currently enrolled in an Orange County high school. Applicants should rank in the top 25% of their graduating class.

Scholarships are funded by our local scholarship fund and by the Gunstream/Orange County Texas Exes Endowed Scholarship Fund.

Applications for these scholarships are available from your counselor's office in February of your senior year. The deadline for local scholarships varies each year and will be posted in each school as well as this webpage when known.

THESE VISITS CAN INCLUDE A CAMPUS TOUR, ADMISSIONS VISIT, AND SPECIFIC COLLEGE VISITS. LONGHORN SATURDAYS ARE A GREAT WAY TO GET STARTED. LONGHORN SATURDAYS ARE SCHEDULED EVERY FALL.
