“Being a social ambassador for the Texas Exes allowed me to see the role social strategy has in creating community. On a personal level, it fueled my pride for being a Texas Longhorn and gave me access to the alumni network as a student. I found my first job out of college on HookedIn which was a resource I was connected to by being a social ambassador. My favorite memory was shooting promotional content for Texas EXpresso with my fellow Social Ambassadors.”

“My time spent as a Texas Exes Social Ambassador was incredibly rewarding! My role encompassed several engagement activities aimed at promoting Student Membership and fostering a sense of community among fellow students, which I enjoyed immensely. The plethora of social media marketing experience I gained during this role definitely helped me secure the job I currently have. Additionally, there were lots of fun perks to the role, like taking over the stories on the official @TexasExes Instagram during special events such as basketball games. I was able to provide firsthand insights and exciting updates to the student community. I recommend this role to anyone hoping to gain firsthand knowledge and valuable experience inside the world of marketing!”
