Don Seymour, BBA ’91
Don Seymour, BBA ’91, is the chairman of Black Unicorn, a private wealth and asset management firm headquartered in the Cayman Islands, that he founded in 2022. A certified public accountant, Seymour has decades of experience in analytical investment and capital deployment. Previously, he founded Waystone, a leading global fund governance firm, which he sold in a landmark transaction for $1.3 billion. He was featured as one of the 50 leading Wall Street financiers in in the book Transforming Wall Street: A Conscious Path for a New Future and recognized by the Financial Times as one of the global hedge fund industry's most influential men. Seymour has contributed to the development and growth of the Cayman Islands as a premier financial center, serving as the founding Head of Investment Services at the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority and as a member of various industry associations and committees.
