Forty Acres Society

The Texas Exes created the Forty Acres Society to offer alumni a way to advance academic excellence at our University. The Society brings together a community of leaders who are passionate about their alma mater and are committed to paying it forward.

Why join?

Society membership directly supports the enrichment component of the Forty Acres Scholars Program, which is a differentiating factor for students deciding between UT and other top-ranked universities.

Our love and appreciation for The University of Texas runs deep, which is why we are both so passionate about giving back. The Forty Acres Society is a great way to do that because it directly impacts the impressive students of the Forty Acres Scholars Program (FASP), which is the premier full-ride, merit-based scholarship for The University of Texas at Austin. The scholarship provides a life-changing experience for the Scholars both in and out of the classroom, empowering them to be our future leaders and world-changers. It allows the University to compete with other best-in-class schools around the country to ensure we are attracting the brightest minds to our great campus. We are honored to have the opportunity to make an impact and have loved meeting all of the amazing Scholars.
