Our Programs and Events

Our signature, annual event was the Pride Alumni Celebration that used to follow the Lavender Graduation ceremony in mid-May. In 2024, with implementation of Senate Bill 17 which resulted in the closure of the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement, the Gender & Sexuality Center, and other units, organization of Lavender Graduation was moved to Texas Exes. Our network now has a primary role in celebrating the LGBTQIA+ graduates and allies who continue to make the University a diverse, special community, even without institutional support.

Members of our Network are also active in Pride parades and festivals across the state.
