Every February, Texas Exes around the globe participate in Project Worldwide community service projects. This year our chapter supported two great organizations right here in Katy! A huge thank you to everyone who participated, and also to our event organizer, Lorielle Peterson!

This was our third year to volunteer at The Ballard House! The Mission of The Ballard House is “to provide temporary housing in our community with a warm, safe environment for individuals and their families who are hospitalized or receiving treatment for a serious medical condition.“ Katy Texas Exes assisted with beautifying the grounds on Saturday, February 27th, right after the big winter storm!

This was our first year to include the Fort Bend Women's Center as part of Project Worldwide! Katy Texas Exes were encouraged to donate either 1) specific items needed for FBWC's emergency shelter, or 2) new or gently used items for one of the PennyWise resale stores that help fund counseling and various services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
